JÄGERMEISTER MEISTER HUNTER COMPETITION 2026 – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Organizer
The organizer of the Jägermeister Meister Hunter Competition 2026 (the “Competition”) is MAST-JÄGERMEISTER SE, Jägermeisterstraße 7–15, 38302 Wolfenbüttel, Germany (“Jägermeister” or the “Organizer”).
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By submitting an application and/or otherwise participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not participate in the Competition.
3. Nature and Structure of the Competition
The Competition is a multi-stage bartending competition consisting in principle of the following stages:
- Entry phase
- Local / country heat
- Grand Final in London
Jägermeister may adapt, suspend, replace or cancel any stage, mechanic, timeline, venue or participation route at its sole discretion, in particular where required for legal, regulatory, operational or compliance reasons. 4. Eligible Participants
Participation is open only to natural persons who:
- are at least 18 years old and have reached the legal minimum age for the purchase, possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in their country of residence and in the country from which they participate;
- have full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- comply with all applicable laws, platform rules and professional standards; and
- are not employees, agents or direct contractors of Jägermeister or any company directly involved in organizing or judging the Competition, unless Jägermeister expressly allows otherwise in writing.
Where local law requires a higher minimum age (e.g. 21+), such higher age threshold shall apply.
Participation is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
5. Territorial Scope / Market-Specific Restrictions
The Competition is intended for selected markets as determined by Jägermeister from time to time.
Participation, availability and mechanics may differ by country or market. Jägermeister reserves the right to:
- exclude specific jurisdictions,
- offer different entry routes,
- apply local annexes or supplemental rules,
- request additional declarations or documents,
- or cancel participation from a specific market where required by law or compliance considerations.
Without limitation, participants from countries with strict rules on alcohol advertising, promotions, contests or digital marketing may be subject to additional eligibility criteria, restrictions or exclusions.
If local law prohibits or materially restricts the Competition, its communication, or a participant’s involvement, Jägermeister may deny, suspend or revoke participation without liability.
6. Entry Period
Only complete applications submitted between 3 June 2026, 00:01 CET and 5 August 2026, 23:59 CET will be considered, unless Jägermeister announces a different deadline or extension through its official Competition communication channels. 7. How to Enter
Participation is free of charge. No purchase is necessary to enter or participate in the Competition.
Unless otherwise communicated by Jägermeister:
- applicants from most participating markets may enter via the designated Instagram-based entry mechanic;
- applicants from Poland and Turkey may be required to submit their applications via the designated website / landing page instead of Instagram, or via such other route as communicated by Jägermeister.
Only one application per person is permitted, unless Jägermeister expressly states otherwise. Multiple, duplicate, automated, misleading or manipulated entries may be disqualified. The uploaded draft already prohibits multiple applications.

8. Entry Content Requirements

- a cocktail concept and/or recipe,
- visual material (e.g. photos and/or video),

- social media account information,
- and any other information reasonably requested by Jägermeister.
All submitted materials and content (“Entry Content”) must:
- be original to the applicant or lawfully usable by the applicant;
- not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- not be unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading, obscene, offensive or otherwise inappropriate;
- not depict or target minors in connection with alcoholic beverages;
- not promote irresponsible, excessive or unsafe drinking;
- not otherwise violate applicable alcohol advertising, youth protection, platform, media or marketing rules.
Jägermeister may remove, reject or disqualify any Entry Content at any time if it reasonably believes that the content does not comply with these Terms, applicable law, platform rules or Jägermeister brand/compliance standards. 9. Selection Process
Applications meeting the eligibility criteria and submission requirements will be reviewed by Jägermeister and/or local market teams.
The evaluation may take into account, among other things:
- the cocktail concept and ingredients,
- creativity and originality,
- craftsmanship and execution potential,
- visual and storytelling quality,
- brand fit and relevance to the Competition concept,
- and any additional criteria communicated by Jägermeister.

10. Local Heat and Grand Final
Shortlisted participants may be invited to a local / country heat in their market. Jägermeister may determine the format, venue, judging panel, scoring and rules of such local heat at its sole discretion.
The winner of the local heat may be invited to represent their country at the Grand Final in London, subject to:
- continued compliance with these Terms,
- timely confirmation of participation,
- successful travel and immigration arrangements,
- and any additional rules, waivers or event documents required by Jägermeister.
Jägermeister may replace in-person events with digital/hybrid formats if operationally, legally or commercially necessary.
11. Travel, Accommodation and Event Logistics
Where Jägermeister invites a participant to the Grand Final in London, Jägermeister may, at its discretion, arrange and/or cover certain reasonable travel-related costs, such as transport, accommodation, selected meals and local transfers, in accordance with the applicable event agenda and travel policy. The uploaded draft indicates that Jägermeister intends to provide tickets, accommodation, meals, transport and entertainment for the London trip.
Unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing by Jägermeister:
- participants are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, permits and other travel documents;
- participants are responsible for complying with entry, health, customs and local legal requirements;
- participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage, including health, travel and accident insurance;
- participants are responsible for personal expenses and incidental costs not expressly covered by Jägermeister.

12. Participant Conduct
If selected for any stage of the Competition, participants must:
- act professionally and respectfully;
- comply with instructions from Jägermeister, venue staff and event partners;
- comply with all applicable laws, health and safety rules and venue rules;
- refrain from any conduct that could damage the reputation of Jägermeister, the Competition, venues, judges, staff or other participants;
- comply with applicable anti-bribery, anti-corruption and sanctions laws.

Jägermeister may disqualify or remove any participant whose conduct is unlawful, unsafe, abusive, inappropriate, non-compliant or reputationally harmful.
13. Publicity, Recording and Use of Name / Likeness
By participating in the Competition, you agree that Jägermeister and its affiliated companies may photograph, film, record and otherwise document your participation in the Competition.
You grant Jägermeister and its affiliated companies a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable right to use your:
- name,
- professional name,
- image,
- likeness,
- voice,
- biography,
- social media handle,
- and statements made in connection with the Competition
for the purpose of administering, documenting, reporting on and promoting the Competition and related Jägermeister brand communications, in any media now known or later developed, for the duration of the applicable legal protection period or, where no such protection period applies, for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant communication purposes.
Where mandatory law requires additional consent or formalities, Jägermeister may request these separately.
The uploaded draft already envisages use of the participant’s name, likeness and contributions for promotional purposes, but only in a much narrower form.
14. Licence in Entry Content
By submitting Entry Content, you represent and warrant that:
- you created it yourself or have all necessary rights, permissions and consents to submit it and allow its use under these Terms;
- no third-party rights are infringed;
- any person visible or identifiable in the Entry Content has given all necessary permissions, unless not required by law;
- the Entry Content is lawful and compliant with these Terms.
You grant Jägermeister and its affiliated companies a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, communicate, display and otherwise use the Entry Content, in whole or in part, for:
- administering the Competition,
- evaluating entries,
- documenting and reporting on the Competition,
- internal presentations,
- brand communications relating to the Competition,
- public relations,
- social media,
- websites,
- and other marketing-related uses connected to the Competition.
Where Jägermeister wishes to use Entry Content beyond Competition-related communication in a materially broader commercial context, Jägermeister may request a separate release or agreement.
15. No Obligation to Publish or Use
Jägermeister is under no obligation to publish, repost, feature, promote, exploit or continue to use any Entry Content or any participant’s name, image or likeness.
16. Disqualification
Jägermeister may, at any time and at its sole discretion, disqualify, exclude or revoke the participation status of any applicant or participant who:
- breaches these Terms;
- provides false, misleading or incomplete information;
- attempts to manipulate the process or outcomes;
- uses bots, fake accounts, fraudulent engagement or other improper means;
- violates applicable laws, platform rules or Jägermeister policies;
- engages in conduct that is unsafe, discriminatory, harassing, offensive, illegal or reputationally harmful.
Any prizes, invitations, benefits or reimbursements may be withheld or withdrawn where legally permissible.
17. Market-Specific Alcohol Advertising and Compliance Rules
Participants acknowledge that the Competition relates to an alcoholic beverage brand and is therefore subject to specific legal and self-regulatory restrictions in many jurisdictions.
Accordingly:
- participation must not be interpreted or communicated in a manner that targets minors;
- participants must not create or post content encouraging excessive, irresponsible or unsafe alcohol consumption;
- participants must comply with all local rules on alcohol communication, marketing and promotions;
- Jägermeister may request changes to content, captions, visuals, hashtags, disclosures or participation mechanics where necessary for legal or compliance reasons.
- Without limiting the generality of these Terms, the Competition is subject to all mandatory local laws and restrictions applicable in each participating market. In particular, in markets with strict rules regarding alcohol advertising, digital promotion, contests or prize mechanics, Jägermeister may introduce market-specific participation routes, additional conditions, reduced visibility, alternative judging formats, or exclude the market entirely. No applicant shall have any claim arising from such local compliance measures.
For certain markets, including those with strict restrictions on alcohol advertising and promotional activities, Jägermeister may impose additional rules, limit public visibility, route entries through specific channels, or exclude the market entirely.
18. Modification, Suspension or Cancellation
Jägermeister reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone or terminate the Competition, any stage of it, or any participation route at any time, with or without prior notice, where reasonably necessary, including in case of:
- legal or regulatory concerns,
- technical issues,
- fraud or manipulation,
- safety concerns,
- force majeure,
- insufficient participation,
- platform restrictions,
- or other circumstances affecting the integrity, legality or feasibility of the Competition.
The uploaded draft already reserves a right to modify, delay or cancel the process and the Competition.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants shall have no claim against Jägermeister arising from such modification, suspension or cancellation, except in cases of mandatory liability.
19. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law.
Subject to the foregoing, Jägermeister shall not be liable for:
- lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entries;
- technical failures, platform outages or connectivity issues;
- third-party platform actions or restrictions;
- travel disruptions, visa refusals, border measures or force majeure events;
- indirect or consequential damages;
- losses arising from participant non-compliance with these Terms or applicable law.
Participants are responsible for their own conduct, submissions, travel readiness and compliance with applicable law.
20. Taxes
Participants are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, reporting obligations or similar charges arising from their participation in the Competition or receipt of any benefit, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
21. Data Protection
Jägermeister will process personal data submitted in connection with the Competition for the purposes of:
- administering the Competition,
- reviewing and evaluating applications,
- contacting applicants and participants,
- organizing local heats and the Grand Final,
- documenting and communicating about the Competition,
- and complying with legal obligations.

22. No Employment / No Agency / No Guarantee
Participation in the Competition does not create any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, sponsorship, representation or long-term collaboration relationship between the participant and Jägermeister.
Selection, shortlisting, invitation or participation in any stage of the Competition does not guarantee any future collaboration, endorsement, funding, commercial engagement or other benefit unless separately agreed in writing.

23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
24. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict of laws rules, unless mandatory local law in the participant’s jurisdiction provides otherwise.
To the extent legally permissible, the courts of Braunschweig, Germany shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
