SAVE THE NIGHT has grown into a worldwide movement backing the people, projects and ideas that make nights safer, more inclusive and more sustainable.

STN Advisory Board

Jägermeister’s SAVE THE NIGHT Advisory Board

The people who keep the lights low and the culture alive. Four voices from four cities, each with a different track record but all with the same vision: protecting nightlife as something worth fighting for.

Director, Biche Musical

Alejandra Gómez Quintero (she/her)

Cali, Colombia

Philosopher by training, cultural force by practice. Alejandra runs Monte Olimpa, the club and platform built by Biche to put women, trans and non-binary DJs at the decks where they belong. Eleven years deep in Cali's independent scene, she's redrawing what a safer, sharper nightlife looks like in Latin America.

General Manager, Tresor Berlin

Diana Alagić (she/her)

Berlin, Germany

A decade booking one of techno's most sacred rooms before taking the reins at Tresor in 2024, Diana knows the dancefloor from every angle. She co-founded the Academy of Subcultural Understanding, arming the next generation with the tools to build their own underground spaces, wherever they call home.

Creative Director, fabric

Jorge Nieto (he/him)

London, United Kingdom

From Bogotá to Farringdon, Jorge has spent over 15 years shaping how London moves. At fabric since 2020, he's taken electronic music places it had never been, including the opera house, and built 24-hour marathons for those who never want the night to end. A custodian of one of the world's great clubs.

CEO and Co-Founder of The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, co-owner of The Stonewall Inn, and a trusted voice in the media on leadership, culture, and belonging

Stacy Lentz (she/her)

New York, United States

For nearly two decades, Stacy has helped steward one of the world’s most recognized brands and trusted institutions through strategic communications, partnerships, and public leadership. She believes nightlife has always been more than entertainment, it’s where community, culture, and belonging come together, making it something worth protecting.

WHY WE NEED TO SAVE THE NIGHT

The night is more than what happens after dark. It's the magical in-between. The place where identities are found, rules are bent, strangers become family, and tomorrow's culture is born while the rest of the world is fast asleep.

But nightlife is fragile. While electronic music might seem booming, the scenes, clubs and communities that nurture it often live on a razor's edge. Since 2020, we've seen a rapid rise in club closures — hundreds in the UK, France and Berlin alone — which are so widespread that Germans even coined a word for it: Clubsterben.

The silent years of the pandemic left us with an inheritance of financial pressure and shifting demographics. Inflation and soaring rents are forcing legendary spaces to shut their doors. And while safety remains a pressing concern for many — especially women and LGBTQ+ communities — the ecological cost of festivals and clubs keeps climbing.
