Curt Mast, fascinated by the art of manufacturing spirits, from early on, developed the recipe for the Jägermeister over 80 years ago and went on to conquer the world. Besides the famous herbal liqueur, the company Mast-Jägermeister released many other fine spirits and liqueurs over the years.
In the 1960s, the Mast-Jägermeister produced over 20 different spirits and exquisite wines. Curt Mast was never tired of this work and kept on developing. Products released on the market included the wild fruit liqueur “Schlehenfeuer”, the coffee liqueur “Mocca Double”, the caraway schnapps “Korn und Kimme” and a bitter spirit drink called “Boonekamp”. This broad product portfolio was reduced over the time and in the end, only the “Schlehenfeuer” and the heart of the company - the popular herbal liqueur - Jägermeister - remained.
